The RLymYC Summer Regatta and Party has become firmly established in our Club calendar and to ensure we have more time out on the water, this year's event will now also incorporate two twilight races on the Thursday & Friday evenings.
There will be Class starts for IRC Yachts, Lymington Adjusted Handicap, XODs, J80s, Gaffers, Classics Folkboats.
A provisional program of the event is below:
Sunday 5th June
Visiting boats arrive in Lymington taking full advantage of Lymington Harbour's 7-day discounted alongside berthing.
Thursday 9th June
Twilight racing amongst up to 100 boats followed by an informal dinner & weekly prize giving at the Yacht Club.
Friday 10th June
During the day, sample everything Lymington has to offer or for many Lymintonian's Back to Work :(
18:00hrs Twilight racing amongst up to 100 other boats followed by a Paella at the Yacht Club.
Saturday 11th June
1 race in the Western Solent followed by the annual Summer Party with Live Music at the Club.
Sunday 12th June
1 round-the-cans race finishing in time for lunch and the Prize Giving.
