10:00: Free taster sessions will be running from 10:00 - 15:30hrs at the Lymington Town Sailing Club. There will be a wide variety of dinghies, something to suit everyone so if you know of a family member, friend or you are just looking for an opportunity to get out on the water with some of the British Sailing Team then this is for you. 

You are more than welcome to just turn up on the day as there will be plenty of spaces available but it helps if you can register your interest online by clicking the banner opposite.
 

15:30: The Great British Olympic Sailing Bake Off & Tea will be taking place in the RLymYC Marquee. We are looking for delicious tasting cakes, biscuits & tray-bakes with an innovative decorative design. The competition is open to all Members, Non-Members Parents, Youth Week Competitors, Helpers and Wednesday Junior Sailors and will be judged by Luke Matthews, Executive Head Chef at the Chewton Glen and Alexa ‘Lex’ Bartlett-Woodnett, a top pastry chef from the Pig Hotel. 17:00: Local sailor and RLymYC Member, Nick Thompson, is looking to secure a medal at this year’s Olympic Games in the Laser Class and to celebrate the first medal race at the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Club will be showing the Laser medal races on large screens throughout the Club house.


18:30: There will be various food options from around the world available on the evening, including a Rustic Italian Pizza Oven, British BBQ and Brazilian favourite Picadillo. Pre-order Supper Tickets at £8.00 from the Club Reception or £12.00 on the day.
