Huge congratulations to Joanna MacAlister and Freya Hutchinson, who have been selected to represent Great Britain in the 29er Female fleet at the 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships in Portugal this December!

It’s a fantastic achievement following a brilliant season for the pair, and we’re incredibly proud to see two Royal Lymington Yacht Club Members representing GBR on the world stage. 🇬🇧

Many Members will also recognise Joanna from around the Club – when she’s not sailing or at college, she can often be found working with our team on the first floor!

Congratulations Joanna & Freya – the whole Club will be cheering you on in Portugal!
