2021 Gallagher Insurance Spring Series

Sundays 11, 18, 25 April and 2 May

Our Spring Series for cruiser racers and one-design keelboats runs on four Sunday mornings  in April and May: Sunday 11th, 18th and 25th April and 2nd May.

Entries Open from: Thursday 11th March 
Latest date of entry for the series: Saturday 10th April
Latest date of entry for the race: 09:00 on Race Day


Crewing Restrictions

The following crewing restrictions apply to all entrants until modified by an Amendment to the Notice of Race:
  • Nordic Folkboats: Class/Association agreement to a 2-crew limit and no spinnakers.
  • J/80s: Class Rule on maximum crew weight applies. 
  • Other Keelboats:  IRC boats to use 2/3 of IRC certificate rule, rounded down.
  • LAH Handicap boats: Boats matching others with an equivalent IRC certificate, then the IRC rule above is to be applied.
Participants shall be guided by the RYA document Sailing & Racing in Mixed Households and by the control measures outlined in the Royal Lymington Yacht Club risk assessments for Dinghy Sailing and SUP, Pontoon and On The Water Activities and Clubhouse Operations.
