2023 Youth ILCA 4 & 6 Open

We are delighted to be welcoming the International Laser Class Association to Royal Lymington Yacht Club from 2nd & 3rd September.

We will be hosting two youth fleets for ILCA 4 & ILCA 6.

Friday 1^st September
16:00	Dinghy parking areas cordoned off in car park opens for visiting boats.
Saturday 2^nd September
08:45 – 10:00	Registration in the Regatta Marquee (Ground Floor – Adjacent to the Club)
	Breakfast baps and hot drinks available in the Regatta Marquee
	Briefing for Race Team and Safety in the Club Sail Loft
10:00	Competitor Briefing on the Club Forecourt
10:30	Race Team leave dock (pontoon)
10:30	Slipway Volunteer Briefing on the Club Forecourt
10:30	Tallies open for competitors (near the slipway)
10:30	Competitors launch from slipway, ILCA 4 fleet to follow ILCA 6 launch
11:55	First warning signal (Races 1 – 3*)
From 18:00	ILCA BBQ at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club. – Additional tickers £15.00
Sunday 3rd September
08:00	Breakfast baps and drinks available in the Regatta Marquee
08:30	Briefing for Race Team and Safety in the Club Sail Loft
09:00	Race Team leave dock (pontoon)
09:00	Tallies open for competitors (near the slipway)
09:00	Competitors launch from slipway, ILCA 4 fleet to follow ILCA 6 launch
10:25	First warning signal (Races 4 – 6*)
16:00 (approx.)	Prize Giving will take place in the Bar (First Floor)

Event Messaging System

In addition to the Official Notice Board, the Organising Authority may send messages to competitors and support persons via the Event Messaging System, Telegram.

Telegram is similar to WhatsApp but has better privacy (phone numbers are not public), it does not limit groups to 150 people and allows new arrivals to see existing messages.
