Hinxman Trophy

A short series of four races sailed on a single evening. Single and double handers race together for the Trophy but there are prizes for the first three in each class. The start is from a Committee boat down river and the finish is at the Club line. Most competitors stay on for supper after the prizegiving. Entry is limited to Members of the Scow Division at the RLymYC.

Figure of Eight Race

A race for single and double handers around Oxey and Pylewell Islands so the course describes an "8". Starts and finishes down river from a Committee boat. Traditionally this is followed by a splendid tea! Entry is limited to Members of the Scow Division at the RLymYC.

A Celebration of the Scow 2018
21st & 22nd July 2018
To help celebrate its 21st Anniversary, the Lymington River Scow Class Association has joined with the RLymYC to organise a Rally to get as many different examples of Scows to sail together, and to provide the opportunity for owners to compare notes and even swap boats.

Scow Inter-Club Challenge
Saturday 01st September 2018
An invitation event for up to eight teams of three Scows each, all provided by the RLymYC. Conditions permitting there will be four races on a single Saturday afternoon, with Committee boat starts and finishes. The team with the lowest aggregate score wins. To be followed by another splendid tea provided by the Division.
