The Penguin Trophy is one of the Club’s most coveted prizes, often attracting Olympic-level sailors.  It is raced for annually in loaned Scows, in the Lymington River close to the Club.

The postponed Penguin Trophy 2020 was rescheduled to the morning of Good Friday (2nd April) 2021.  The 2021 edition of the Penguin Trophy is scheduled for 28th December 2021.

For Good Friday, entry is online only and limited to 12 teams which can be single-handed (with no jib) or double-handed. If the event is oversubscribed, priority will be given to entries received before 26th March and to helms too old to sail in the Peter Andreae event.  Selected teams will be allocated a Club Scow and required to pay a hire fee and a damage deposit.
