I competed in the RYA Yachts and Yachting Lockdown Virtual Cup final on Wednesday 22
nd April.
Among Olympians, World Champions and the reigning e-sailor Champion, I was the only youth competitor in
the fleet on 10. When I was sailing sadly, I experienced some internet mishaps which made me log out a couple of times.
I was also being interviewed while sailing by Mark Jardine and Andy Green who was commentating from Newport RI.
I was very nervous as they were all chatting and knew each other and were all Champions. One of the best parts was just knowing
I was there and I wasn’t coming last. I got around the mark in 4
th on the last race so it’s not like a couldn’t have beaten them. That’s
