ILCA Rooster Regional Youth Series – South

Royal Lymington Yacht Club is delighted to welcome the ILCA Rooster Regional Youth Series – South on Saturday 3rd October 2026, in conjunction with UKLA.
Open to ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 sailors aged under 19, the event will offer a full day of competitive youth racing in the Western Solent, with up to four races scheduled. Courses will be inner or outer loop trapezoids, with a target race time of approximately 40 minutes.
Registration will be open from 08:30–10:00, with the first warning signal scheduled for 10:55. Racing will continue throughout the day, with no warning signal after 16:00.
The entry fee is £35, which includes pasta after racing. Entries close on 30th September 2026, with late entries accepted only at the discretion of the Organising Authority and subject to an additional fee.
Competitors must be members of UKLA or another National ILCA Class Association. Sailors under 18 will also need a completed Parent/Guardian Declaration.
