Club member, Paul French, has developed a 6 week course to show you the foundations of photography.
You will receive a basic grounding for better enjoying your photography. Learn many important aspects of photography and start to develop your own portfolio and style as you learn and hopefully make some new friends with a common interest!
This Foundation Course, developed by Paul, will equip you to create distinctive, meaningful images that express your personal way of seeing, an essential first step on the path to developing your own photographic style and creating images you will enjoy.
Aside from having fun the most important part of the image capture process is the person 6 inches behind the camera taking the photograph, Paul will help you to focus on capturing that image.
The course will run for 6 weeks starting on Tuesday 8th February - each session will start at 10:00 in the Solent Room and last around 2 hours. There will be a short, optional, assignment to be completed on your own during the week following each session.
In the event that there are Covid19 restrictions imposed the course will be streamed online using Zoom on the advertised dates.
The cost of this first 6 week Foundation Course will be £50 per person.
