With stunning views of the Lymington River and towards the Solent, the Royal Lymington Yacht Club is the perfect venue for our members and others to entertain and to hold a wide range of functions. If you’re looking for an exciting venue for a birthday party, Christmas party, formal function or charity fundraiser we can tailor our flexible rooms to meet your needs and cater for parties from 10 to 135.

Our Island Room, Needles Room and Solent Room are available for exclusive hire, providing an intimate atmosphere for lunch or dinner. 

Our rooms are also well equipped for business meetings and conferences, with audio visual equipment and wifi. A number of room layouts are possible, including theatre style for conferences, classroom and cabaret style for workshops and seminars, boardroom and U-style for board meetings and expo style for exhibitions. 

A range of set Mosimann’s menus can be selected to suit any level of function or bespoke menus can be created to meet your exact requirements. With an attentive in-house team, an enviable wine list and arguably the best views in Lymington, Royal Lymington Yacht Club can help make your function a resounding success.

From cocktails and canapes reception on the terrace to seasonal fine dining for a more formal occasion, we are here to cater to your needs.

If we cannot accommodate you on the exact date requested, we are more than happy to provide you with information on an alternative date.

The Island Room is a flexible space with large windows offering an abundance of natural light and stunning views. French doors open onto an outdoor balcony. The room has inbuilt audio-visual facilities and can be set in a variety of different layouts.

The Island Room can be combined with the adjacent Needles Room to make a larger rectangular space, or with both the Needles Room and the Solent Room to make an exclusive L-shaped suite. As such, the space lends itself beautifully for conferences, banqueting, formal and informal occasions and celebrations. 
  • Conference seating: up to 70 (up to 110 when combined with The Needles Room)
  • Boardroom seating: up to 30 (up to 45 when combined with The Needles Room)
  • Lunch or dinner: up to 50 (up to 70 when combined with The Needles Room, up to 110 when combined with The Needles Room and The Solent Room)
  • Reception/buffet: up to 80 when combined with The Needles Room, up to 135 when combined with The Needles Room and The Solent Room.

Overlooking the Lymington River, the River Room is perfect for informal dining, casual events, canapé and drinks functions. It has a fantastic view, an abundance of light and open-plan design. The River Room leads out to the Balcony, an outdoor space with stunning river views, perfect for informal alfresco dining, canapes and drinks.
