Celebrating The Centenary
Our Centenary Book is now available to purchase from Reception and Online.
The book has been produced thanks to the generosity of three anonymous members, who have underwritten the cost. It is a hardback book, 240mm x 196mm, with 250 pages and over 200 images, published by Unicorn Publishing.
It contains articles charting the Club’s evolution, from small beginnings after WW1, how we became ‘Royal’, our social scene, the MacNamara Bowl, the Royal Lymington Cup, WJS, boatbuilding in the river, race management etc; all describe a thriving club reaching the pinnacle of sporting achievement.
This snapshot of a hundred years of our Club is an absorbing collage of all that goes on and has gone on in a thriving club that is at the epicentre of the boating world, of the New Forest and the Lymington River.
You can get your copy today at the Members’ price of £20 from the Club Office, or by following the website link here:
I would like to thank John Tudor for editing the book and managing this whole project and all our Members who have contributed to the fascinating content.
