Members and visitors welcome to enter our Centenary XOD Regatta!

Always a popular event, this year our Centenary XOD Week will be bigger and more exciting than ever before, with racing over five days and great entertainment planned for the evenings. We welcome entries from visiting X One Design divisions as well as our own members,

Racing will take place out on the Solent throughout the five day event, with prizes awarded for specific categories at the end of the regatta. Racing at the our XOD Week is competitive yet friendly, lighthearted and fun, with many skippers and crews enjoying drinks together in our bar afterwards.

A number of social events are planned at the Club for the evenings, including a party with food and live music from The Goodfoot Band on Saturday 4th June, and a drinks party on Monday 6th June, sponsored by Wessex Distillery. The grand finale for the event will be a Prize Giving evening after racing has concluded on Wednesday 8th June.

Great value entry for visitors!

XOD Week entry is free for members of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club. Visting boats are welcome to arrive by sea or by land, with entry priced at just £60. This is great value and covers ten races over the five day event led by our highly experienced race management team.

Visiting skippers and crews will be welcome at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club throughout the event, including the popular bar, restaurant and sun terraces.

Free berthing for the first 6 entries and special rates thereafter!

Berthing at the Club will be free for the first six visitor entries! Our Club Office will confirm by email if you are one of the first six visitor entries.

For other visiting boats, the Club has negotiated discounted rates for berthing at Lymington Yachthaven or on the Harbour Master’s Dan Bran pontoon. We highly recommend that you reserve your berth early to avoid disappointment.

Lymington Harbour Dan Bran Pontoon: For 7 days (Friday 3rd to Thursday 9th) £112.64 per boat. For the 5 nights of the regatta (Saturday 4th to Wednesday 8th) £85.76 (NB: normal daily charges are £24.32 per boat for weekend days and £20.48 for week days).

Lymington Yachthaven: £17.88 per boat per night

Free storage and discounted cranage

Visiting boats arriving by land can benefit from free storage for trailer and boat by prior arrangement and a discounted rate for cranage at just £60 per lift.

Join the RLymYC Crew Match!

You don’t need to own a boat to get involved in XOD Week! If you fancy racing as crew on a boat in 2022, visit the Royal Lymington’s ‘Crew Match’ and Open Day taking place at the Club on Saturday 26th March from 10am to 12pm.

‘Crew Match’ is a relaxed and informal event enabling people to match their sailing experience, level of knowledge and racing ambition with club members looking for crew. Being part of a crew requires no financial outlay apart from some waterproof kit.
