From counter-terrorism in Northern Ireland and NATO operations in Iraq and Afghanistan with service at sea ranging from patrol boats and aircraft carriers – now on the staff at the Defence Academy of the UK. A highly experienced sailor, RNSA Rear Commodore (Offshore), Stephen skippered the RN/RAF team to victory in the 2016 Sydney–Hobart afterwhich he led an RN team on a Circumnavigation.
