The Lymington Optimist Open will take place at Royal Lymington Yacht Club on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May. We are delighted to welcome you to the Western Solent for two days of great racing managed by our experienced and enthusiastic team. Racing will take place on both days. Main and Regatta fleets will have seperate race courses, however please note the age and experience requirements for sailors as set out in the Notice of Race. All race documents can be found below. Lymington Optimist Open sailors and their parents/guardians and siblings are very welcome to use our clubhouse facilities during the event. On the ground floor you will find our changing facilities, security lockers and training rooms. Upstairs, relax in our family-friendly restaurant and bar (and sun terraces too if the weather permits!),with arguably the most picturesque views in Lymington. Do come upstairs and make yourselves at home whilst they are out on the water - the Club is situated in a stunning riverside location with a great vantage point when they are sailing back up the river.
In addition to the Official Notice Board, the Organising Authority may send messages to competitors and support persons via the Event Messaging System, Telegram. Telegram is similar to WhatsApp but has better privacy (phone numbers are not public), it does not limit groups to 150 people and allows new arrivals to see existing messages.
